CITY OF MARBLE FALLS ROLLS OUT NEW BRUSH DROP OFF PROGRAM

Brush it off Flyer - Before Start Date

The City of Marble Falls will implement a new brush drop off program that will be available to the residents, property owners, and business owners in Marble Falls as well as lawn and yard maintenance companies that service the residents, property owners and business owners in Marble Falls.

The drop off location will be open to the public beginning Saturday, May 12, 2018 and will be available every Saturday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM (excluding holidays) at the City irrigation farm located at 1901 Colt Circle.  Acceptable items include tree limbs, yard clippings and brush.  Items not allowed include construction material, hazardous waste, tires, paint, oil, chemicals or other household trash and debris.

The service is being provided as a supplement to the regularly scheduled curbside brush pick up that the City Street Department conducts on a quarterly basis.

“This new service is designed to provide a year-round, convenient location for residents to get rid of their brush for free.  We are also hopeful it will help to reduce the number of code violations related to brush as well as enhance curb appeal and property maintenance throughout the City.” – Caleb Kraenzel, Assistant City Manager
