Carnival
Permit Application Requirements
Please apply for your carnival permit in the form of a
letter. A temporary use permit will also be issued for the
operation of your carnival.
Your letter should contain the following information:
- Name, mailing address and telephone number of applicant.
- Location of proposed carnival operation.
- Duration of operation of carnival.
- Name of on-site carnival operator.
- Operators statement that operator has read, understands,
and intends to comply with the City of Marble Falls' Carnival
and Temporary Use Ordinances, copies of which are enclosed.
Please attach the following information:
- Valid certificate of public liability insurance stating
liability limits, enforceable in Burnet County.
- Site plan showing property lines and location of existing
buildings, parking areas, site entrance and exit, and
carnival. Please note that the carnival, if located in
a parking area, cannot utilize more than 25% of the required
spaces.
- Written authorization from legal property owner.
The carnival permit fee is $25.00 per day of proposed operation.
The temporary use permit fee is $25.00. Application shall
be made at least twenty (20) days prior to the proposed
date of operation of the carnival. Upon receipt of your
application a copy will be forwarded to the building official
for his review. The building official shall make a determination
whether to approve or deny the location request within ten
(10) days after date of application. Once the location has
been approved, all of the above information is received,
and permit fees paid, a Carnival / Temporary Use Permit
will be issued.
