Parks & Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Department interfaces with the Parks and Recreation Commission; which serves in an advisory capacity and makes recommendations to the City Council concerning the acquisition, maintenance, operation and use of parks and open spaces within the City. The Commission is composed of seven members serving staggered two-year terms. The Commission meets on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 noon at City Hall.  If you are interested in being a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission, see the Boards and Commissions page for more information.
